The issue is discussed how authorities of National Parks that aim to preserve biosphere can enlarge income. A review indicates that many Parks generate high income from tourism. A Dutch case illustrates that one can find sustainable innovations with short payback, which enable to generate income without distorting the biosphere. It is argued that the governance evolves from protectionism to development of the biosphere entailing entrepreneurial activities within a set of public arrangements. The National Park Enterprises can generate huge cash flows thus becoming the largest socially responsible corporations.
