This paper reports on a study that was conducted in conjunction with Destination NSW, the government tourism authority for the state of New South Wales in Australia. The purpose of the study was to examine tourist wayfinding behaviour in Sydney, and in particular to identify issues with the adequacy of systems and services designed to assist tourists with their wayfinding.
