We are pleased to announce that Dr Dirk Glaesser will give a keynote at the BEST EN Think Tank XIV. He has already had a long  career in the UNWTO, and we are pleased to have him onboard!

Dr. Dirk Glaesser is Acting Director for the Sustainable Development of Tourism Programme of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The programme addresses the generation of social, economic and cultural benefits for host communities resulting from sustainable development of tourism while minimizing the negative impacts upon the natural and socio-cultural environments. Dr. Glaesser also supervises the UNWTO Consulting Unit on Biodiversity and Tourism based in Bonn (Germany) and is a member of the Extended Management Team of UNWTO.
