Sustainability is an inevitable concept in tourism which heavily depends on natural resources and environment with its products and services. Here prevention and controlling water, air and noise pollution, habitat degradation is more important than new alternatives.

The aim of this paper is to indicate existing environmental protection policy and applications of luxurious accommodations in South Antalya Region; one of the most popular tourist destinations of Turkey in environmental education, saving energy and water, waste management as principles of sustainable tourism.

Being applicable for other destinations with a wider view; study findings showed that a structure more based on reducing operating expenses exists for sustainable tourism management in luxurious accommodations and can be improved by some environmental management system's tool.
