Julie Fesenmaier brings creativity, innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit to her position as
Associate Research Director of the Cochran Center for Research and Doctoral Programs at the
Fox School of Business and the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Throughout
her career in academe, Julie is passionate about blending theory and practice as she works
with Fox School Stakeholders – students, faculty, business and community leaders.
At the Cochran Center, Julie works with faculty to identify and develop research proposals
and new funding opportunities for the two schools. She is part of the Fox School's leadership
team that directs their planning and visioning initiatives. She coordinates the Fox School
Business Leadership Forum engaging the business sector with the university.
The Cochran Center values the contributions made by our research faculty to the larger
society and the link they create between our educational mission and our larger mission to
engage the world around us. Their goal is to become a leader in business and management
research and community engagement to better serve our constituents – students, faculty,
industry and the people of Pennsylvania. The Cochran Center provides support for faculty
research through access to data, information about grants and review and presentation of
research output both internally and to our larger group of constituents. |

Mr. Hager joined Langan heads the site/civil engineering and land development departments
of Langan Engineering and Environmental Services. He has served both private and publicsector
clients in land development and urban redevelopment throughout New Jersey, New
York and Pennsylvania and in Europe. Notable urban projects include The Irish Hunger
Memorial (Battery Park City, N.Y.), the Glasshouses for Living Collections at The New York
Botanical Garden (Bronx, N.Y.), "Empty Sky" – New Jersey September 11th Memorial (Liberty
State Park, N.J.), Jersey Garden's Mall (Elizabeth, N.J.) and the Capital Improvement and
Infrastructure Master Plan and Strategic Revitalization Plan (Camden, N.J.).
Mr. Hager is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) locally and nationally. He sits
on the Philadelphia District Council's Executive Committee and Governance Committee and
serves as past Membership Chair and Urban Marketplace 2009 Co‐Chair. He is active in ULI's
national Urban Development and Mixed‐Use Council. He is former Treasurer and
Program Committee Co‐Chair of the ULI Northern New Jersey Chapter; and a member of the
American Society of Civil Engineers and Chi Epsilon engineering honor society. Langan has
been providing environmentally sound solutions for development and redevelopment
projects for almost 40 years. Moreover, Langan's internal "Green Team" efforts have resulted
in progressive sustainable practices in all firm locations and the LEED AP certification of more
than 125 Langan professionals. Their commitment to sustainability, notable green projects,
and diverse engineering and environmental capabilities helped ENR magazine rank Langan
among its top 30 "Green Design" firms. |
