The BEST Education Network is holding Think Tank VII entitled “Innovations for Sustainable Tourism" in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA on June 21-24, 2007 in conjunction with the Northern Arizona University. The theme reflects the fact that innovations are an essential basis for sustainable tourism development in any destination.
The format of the upcoming Think Tank differs from previous ones in that it eliminates the module development component and encompasses a new element: an industry open forum where case studies are developed. Hereby, the organisation acknowledges a longstanding idea to contribute to the host community’s sustainable development. Furthermore, those additions are expected to attract more industry representatives to the event thus enriching the discussions on the topic.
